Everyone loves chocolate chip cookies and this recipe is such a winner. Surprise someone new to the diet; you’ll make their day!

Dry ingredients for 1 batch GFCF Chocolate Chip Cookies
1-quart wide-mouth mason jar

hole-punch
ribbon or rafia

1) In a medium bowl, whisk together dry ingredients listed in Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe, except do not blend in the brown sugar.
2) Carefully spoon the white dry ingredients into a clean, dry mason jar.
3) Next, gently spoon in brown sugar and press down; this helps seal the bottom layer, making the presentation more appealing.
4) Gently scoop in the chocolate chips and top-off the mixture with chopped walnuts.
5) Close jar tightly and tie-on recipe card

GFCF Chocolate Chip Cookies
1. In a medium bowl, whisk together cookie mix.
2. In a separate bowl, beat 1 cup GFCF butter (Earth Balance, Spectrum) with 2 eggs.
3. Stir in the dry ingredients, just until combined.
4. Drop teaspoon size rounds onto a baking sheet lined with parchment. Bake for 12 minutes in a preheated 350° oven.
Makes 4 dozen cookies.
