"More bones, please," my kids would say. Everyone in my family loves ribs. Try this rub for a delicious flavor on pork, beef, or chicken.

Savory Rub

2-1/2 tablespoons ground paprika
2 tablespoons kosher salt
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon salt-free Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon mustard powder
1-1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 cup turbinado sugar

3 racks of fresh babyback pork ribs

1) Measure spices into a medium bowl and whisk.
2) Generously sprinkle rub onto both sides of ribs, massaging it into meat. Stack racks and wrap tightly in plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight.
3) When ready to roast, stack ribs in a 9x13-inch pan and cover loosely, first with parchment, then with foil. Place in 290° oven for 2 1/2 hours. Flip ribs, return to oven and roast for another 11/2 hours (total roasting time is about 4 hours). Serve warm with GFCF barbeque sauce. Makes three racks.

Shopping Tip

McCormick states that the only ingredients in their spices are listed on the label. Mrs. Dash products are gluten-free. We use spices that are organically grown, without anticaking ingredients.

Nutrition Tip

If you cannot have paprika, either omit it altogether or replace it with 1 to 3 teaspoons white pepper.
